Hi, I’m Kirby! I’ve been helping Singapore SMEs grow their businesses for more than 20 years – first as an IT solutions provider, now as your friendly neighbourhood web designer and developer.

I don’t just build websites. I understand the real challenges you face as a small business owner because I’ve been in the trenches with SMEs since 1999.

Why I started offering freelance web design services

While running Emerge mLab, a boutique web agency that creates highly customised websites with interactive elements for businesses, I noticed many small businesses couldn’t access quality web design because of budget constraints. This is why I launched this freelance service – using fixed design templates with streamlined processes to deliver professional websites at prices that won’t break the bank.

I’ve worked with SMEs across different industries throughout my career – started in F&B, moved into IT, then became a digital marketing consultant.

I’ve seen businesses at every stage – from startups to established companies looking to scale. This experience taught me that a website isn’t just about looking good, it’s about driving real business results.

And I’ve been running digital marketing campaigns since 2005 (yes, even before Facebook became a thing!). So, I know what makes websites work – not just from a design perspective, but from a “how do I get more customers” perspective.

You would probably find me taking photos around Singapore, playing badminton weekly with my kakis or binge-watching K-dramas during meals (don’t judge!). I also love taking an overseas trip with my family once a year… my way of recharging and getting fresh inspiration.
